Typhoon that hit the Philippines

The total damage that has been caused by Typhoon Haiyan in Philippines is still being gauged. Here are a few facts regarding storms and how they have affected Philippines over the years:

1. There are around 8 storms that hit Philippines every year. In 2013, 6 storms hit Philippines. The maximum number of storms that hit Philippines was in 1993, when 19 cyclones hit the coastline.

2. On an average 1000-2000 people die for every cyclone that hits Philippines. The storm that claimed the maximum number of lives was Thelma, when 5,100 people had died. As of now, it is believed that around 10,000 people might have died in Typhoon Haiyan, if so, and then it becomes the deadliest storm ever in Philippines.

3. The strongest storm to hit Philipines was Typhoon Reming also referred to as Durian. Its winds were 193 km/hr and gusts of 320 km/hr.

4. The financial damage that these storms can cause is tremendous. Typhhon Bopha, which stuck in December 2012, ended up killing more than 1900 people and cost Philippines around $1 billion.

I am truly sorry for what happen in Philippines. And I'm sorry for the late news. This post is dedicated to the Philippines, to the pinoys who have been through all the tough times.

I hate my life, I just want to leave everything behind. Okay I'm joking, I love my life, and I'm really happy right now. Why ? I have no idea why.

School : It's getting interesting, Christmas celebration is coming, and we haven't practice anything except dance. Winter break is on its way, as well. Me and my friend is being a part of the Christmas celebration.

Skating : I'm still in the same level as last time, freestyle 5. Its making me stress each week.

Social : Honestly I'm alone, like I only talk with 8 people last week and this week. It's pitiful, I know.

What else ? hmm I think that's it.

Having to know that you are leaving your country in one year, I know I should be sad, but I'm actually happy. Finally leaving this place, to get out from my comfort zone. To be on my own.

I was planning to leave August 2014, but my mom doesn't want me to leave until January 2015. I was mad at first, but then my mom told me, I could stop in Minnesota first, then fly to Canada. Which is awesome. So yea that's why I agree to leave on January 2015.

10 days

YPDS days is over

So today, I realized that YPDS is over, I remember waking up early, going to Wisma 76, morning tea, sessions, lunch with small groups, sitting there half asleep half awake, looking left and right cause im bored, laughing when the translator translate it wrong, teasing Graham, Janelle, Clayton, being teased by Robert....memories kept.

Great topics taught by Ari, Cliff, Ben, Tommi, and Nirina. I love hearing God's voice and doing what God ask me to do. Though its just last night when we say goodbye, I really want to rewind it and do it again. So yea, I got my ticket for mission trip booked...

Waiting for more of God's calling :) really want to do a real DTS when I grow up and that's according to God's calling and HIS perfect timing :):)

So, today was the last day of YPDS and is the last day of hanging out with the YPDS staff's.

Commissioning Night !

On commissioning night, we, students get certificate for accomplishing 5 days of training. We danced, laughed, worshiped, and praised God. Then we all had dinner together, we took pictures, talked, laughed again.

 After the commissioning night, Me, my family, the YPDS staffs, and some of the YPDS students hangout in Central Park's Burger King, we only ate ice cream though, cause we are too full to eat another meal, and some of us were really really tired and sleepy.

But IT WAS THE MOST AWESOME MOMENTS EVER !!!

In total I need $300 dolar, and like I needed before this Tuesday. Sorry, I haven't been posting but its because of this awesome event it's called YPDS (Young People Discipleship Seminar). If any of you know YWAM (Youth With A Mission). It's like a DTS (Discipleship Training School) but the mini one haha... Yea so its been 5 days, 2 more days till we get our certificate, for these last few days, some of the speaker like Cliff, Ben, Ari, and Nirina have taught me a lot about many things, but the one that got really into my mind and in where I improve a lot is in Hearing God's voice, Intercession, Relationship, and Repentance. It comes to mind a lot of times!! 

 
In this event, I met a lot of new friends and foreigners as well hahaha in these pictures there is J, the staff, Graham, Robert, My kicks, Irene, and Nathan/ Nate. Its not just them, there is many more but I havent take a pic with them. They're all AWESOME PEAPS !! THE COOLEST PEOPLE (not really the coolest, we all know I am the coolest in this blog lol~)

I can't wait for commissioning night and outreach, commissioning night is where we got to bring our food, get our certificate, and just have fuun !! #cheeky. Outreach is when we evangelize or tell the Gospel to people who dont know who Christ is ! and That is the BEST part !! In YPDS we have 2 choice of place to do outreach, in Jakardaaah or Malaysiaaa. I asked God, and he said that I should join the Malaysia... so yea.



I'm leaving to Malaysia on 13th of August and will come back to Jakardah on the 23rd of August. It will be great to tell others about God !! I'm just so excited to start ministering on a very young age (not too young).

Before after finishing the 5th day of YPDS, me and my family went to Citos (a mall) and my parents went up stair leaving me, my grandma, and Angel (my cousin) in Starbucks. Suddenly my grandma told me that while she was praying she see me in a vision, that I will be in Perth, Australia instead of Canada, but she is still unsure with her vision so yea, it will be that I'll probably do my DTS first then UNI or its the other way around so yea that's it !! pray for me more !! a cut in my finger

So yesterday, after school me and some of my schoolmates played, small field soccer, and Aiko kicked the ball to the roof, so I climbed the gate and went at the edge of the wall, but in the top of the wall they have like these spiky-spiky thingy-thingy, so I need to be careful I got the ball and carefully went back to the gate that I use to climb, then the second time, I kicked it to the roof, so I need to take it again, when I put the ball down, and I was carefully spy-climbing in the wall that have the spiky things, one of schoolmate, kicked the ball straight to my feet, and I slipped, in my mind, there is only two choice to pick, to fall and probably get my head, feet, hand, and body bone break, and I get myself end up in the hospital, or to hold on to the spike, and let my hand only to bleed, so I choose to hold on to the spike, as my way of thinking is right, my hand did bleed, and the blood drips to the ball, and now, my right hand has scars though only small ones, but it hurts, so yea, but I'm fine now (:

Happy International Friendship Day !

In lunch time, me and some of my schoolmates played football, before continuing our study, us, students, we have to brush our teeth and I make a deal with Darryl, that I will brush my teeth with his toothpaste, cause I kick the dirty soccer ball, right into his hair, and since he really love his hair so that's the deal, but if I don't brush my teeth with his toothpaste (which taste really yucky), I need to do 50 pushups, so I choose the 50 pushups.....that's it for this afternoon (: Keep reading my blog, J-zies (:

Korean lesson

So today, after I came home from my skating lesson, my mom said that if I sleep at 2a.m. again, She will take away my Ipod and my laptop and I cant let that happen, she asked me to sleep at 10 or 10:30 so that's kinda my curfew. After dinner I went to my room and receive a Kakaotalk message from my mom's korean friend we chatted, and she told she want to help me learn korean....I was so happy, I jumped around my room and I receive another message she said, that I could start having lesson with her this Thursday after school....again, I was so happy, I told my mom, dad, and my siblings AAA~ I'm going to be excited every week now !!! #sohappy #kpopersproblem #teehee

I'm so happy, because my korean friend, Soo Min kakao message me, saying happy birthday, I'm so happy cause I thought he forgot about my birthday but he didn't. It become my best birthday ever !! AAA SO HAPPY !! And today I kinda make a small birthday celebration with my classmates....

Happy Birthday to Me !! (17 July)

Its official, I'm 15 now... getting older in age... AAA but I'm still thankful to God for adding me another year... Last night, I got a blackberry message from my best friend Tasha, and my friends saying happy birthday, then I continue doing my homework and suddenly my mom called me to go outside but with an angry facial expression, I was really nervous cause she is probably mad cause I have a lot of mistakes in MATH. So, I went outside, all the light was off then suddenly, my mom sang a happy birthday song and in the table there is a plate, full of s'more (its crackers, hersheys, and marshmallow, microwaved for 2.5 minutes) and my family prayed for me. My Dad went to asleep first, then because I was sleepy also, I asked my mom if I could sleep she said later, so I waited then from the front door, My brother's friends came bringing a cake singing another birthday song for me.... then they drew on my face with permanent marker HAHA real funny --" then while my brother's friend was chit, chatting, I tried to wash my face it took me almost one and a half hour to wash it off, it finally wear off then they went home and I went to sleep at around 3a.m. --" hahaha I'll post more later :D

Yesterday~

 What me and my cousins did yesterday :

SWIMMING !! it was splashy and too many water haha... I finished first though cause I was bored and at the same time tired, I swum for 10 laps. After we swum, we went to Citos and have ourselves J.Co Donuts. It was Delicious... we had 2 for ourselves and we didn't bring some for our family at home (how selfish are we) haha XPXP anyway we had fun the whole day (:

Home Alone~

So today, I woke up late and went to Indomart on the way there my dad said that I could learn how to drive while watching him and he said that he would teach how to drive a car... and today everyone left the house except me ahaha I watched all day hahaha :D

New Dance Moves

So today I had a dance lesson, and they taught some totally great dance moves AAA so excited to put it in my dance crew choreo. Today, me and my cousins decided to take random pics of us hahah, its pretty funny we had fun ahahah, my room became a fun room for like 30 minutes and I asked them to go to sleep cause we are going to swim tomorrow like in the morning. And before we got home we went to stop by in Alfamidi, a mini-market, in there we played tag, hide and seek, and tag again... until the cashier laugh at us, it was so funny, awkward and kinda weird for me, cause I'm the oldest one but I still had fun hahaha (: They are all going back to their own house tomorrow.... going to miss them, not ahahah I'm kidding (: that's it for today.

1 week left

What so far I've been doing these last days of summer holiday... Well, I just eat, sleep, text, and internet the whole day. It's sad that summer holiday is almost over and that school will start again, but in the same time its  so excited cause next week is my birthday, its on 17 July, I'm turning 15 getting older... anyways I miss YG its been almost a week. And I'm craving for starbucks so badly !!! planning to have a birthday hangout in starbucks but I don't my friends want hahaha well thats it for now !!! hahah

1 week plan

So I'm planning to write a short story, why ? because I got inspired from the movie "The Perks Of Being A Wallflower". It's a really good movie and always because its one more week till school and I got nothing to do for a week and I'll end up sleeping like around 2-3 a.m.

A little bit update of what I did today...
  Today I swum with my cousins, have a dinner birthday party for my auntie, went to the cinema, and watched Lone Ranger, got back home, and watched The Perks Of Being A Wallflower.

What I've been planning to do for tomorrow, so far....
 try asking my mom, if I have skating lesson, if not, I'll start on writing/typing my short story. If yes, I'll go to Skyrink.

Youth Gathering 2013 in Wisma Brendita

 For the last 4 days, I haven't been posting is because of this, I joined some kind of a camp but its not a camp (get it ?) It was an amazing and fun, 4 days ever. I met new friends and I had so much fun with them. Day 1 (02/07/13) : It was fun, we were separated into teams for the outbound. Day 2 (03/07/13) : We had a lessons, some had futsal, cooking, slideshow, dance, drawing, speaking, and writing and we need to show our skills at the end of the day. Day 3 (04/07/13) : Its outbound day, but sadly it was raining so we kinda play inbound, a lot of us get wet, especially me, I got really wet because of my friends, they splashed me with water, and at the end of the day each teams show their skills together, and we had "Fun Night", and we really had fun. And because its our last night there, me and my friends stayed up late talking to each other. Day 4 and Last Day (05/07/13) : Closing Ceremony :)

What Happened Last Saturday

So usually in church, I used to be invisible to my church mate......

On Saturday, Naomi suddenly said she can't come to perform in AXA Tower, because I said, " I could" to Kak Anne, I couldn't dare to bail out on her, so I decided to perform alone.... after I perform suddenly I became visible, all my church mates started talking to me, the Tamborine Dancers asked me to join them and everything, I was in shocked so suddenly and shockingly my life in church changed hahahaha......

Sorry, I haven't been posting for 2-3 days, its because I was busy coaching, I'm also sorry for the next 3-4 days I will not be posting cause I'll have a retreat, in a place I don't know where but when I get back from the retreat place I'll be posting you have to be patient, I know you miss haahaha so this is my sorry post :(........ So tomorrow, Me and Naomi is going to perform in AXA Tower for an opening event, since Jeremy is sick, Darryl is in Malang, Joel can't be contacted, and Aiko is having her holiday.....So it's only Me and Naomi hahaha YEY US !!!

When boredom strikes...

When boredom strikes me, I'll be in front of the camera and pose hahaha...

So today is kinda my day off, cause my whole body ache hurts so bad and because its traffic everywhere in Jakarta. Now I'm hearing music with my "roommate", Ms. Micah hearing music and at 8 we will go to the cinemas, she will watch Now You See Me and I'm going to watch Monster University, alone. I'm still so excited for next month, especially on 17th of July AAAAA <3

Happy Birthday Jakarta

It's 22nd of June, Happy Birthday Jakarta....

        Which means traffic and crowded everywhere, I was planning to coach today, but all my body ache so bad and its traffic, so I'm a little bit lazy... I just want to stay at home, or maybe just have a me time in Starbucks, Lippo mall kemang village. Well, I don't know yet, I'm just tired to be on ice today. While my whole body ache, feels like I don't want to do anything today except sleep.......

Can't wait till July....

I really can't wait until July, cause it's my birthday month and also my best friend, Tasha's birthday month too. Mine is on the 17th July and Tasha is on the 10th of July, its only a week different hehehe..... Well today was such a bummer... so I was going to Kokas (kota kasablanka) but I took the wrong bus and end up going down in Gandaria, and walk until Jl. Gandaria something and took ojek (motorcycle transportation) to Blok M and going down from the motorcycle, I fell but I laughed. Then I took a Transjakarta bus to Karet and took a public transportation until kokas it was quite tiring, I got only 1 student, after I coached the girl, the ice temperature was too high so the rink closed. And I went home at 7:30 and was really tired and I arrived home, and ate Magnum... and watch a little and fell asleep, then helped my mom was the dishes, and clean the kitchen....

Tomorrow, I'll get my report card..... Teehee<3

These past few days...

On Wednesday, I went coaching in Kota Kasablanka and met my best friend, Tasha there. Well, we planned it already, and we coached together, she got 2 students and so do I.... and we stayed in Kota Kasablanka until 8. We were planning to grab dinner, but Tasha's mom, Ms. Elly brought us Hotdogs.... so we ate the hotdogs in the car while going to Tasha's house. We laughed and texted with the same person in BBM and we arrived in Tasha's house, and I met Aj and we chatted.

On Thursday, I went to Kota Kasablanka in the morning and drank starbucks coffee with Tasha and put on our skates and we got on ice, we just stand in the same position cause we got nothing to do then suddenly Tasha got a student for an hour, then I got a student but only for half hour, then after that, me and Tasha grab lunchsnack, we didn't eat our lunch cause we weren't hungry, we went downstairs and Tasha bought Sour Sally and I bought Cream Soup from KFC and we got bored so Tasha dipped, her kiwi topping to my cream soup and it actually taste good haha and we did that a lot of times and then, we went to buy food and drink for Jimmy and Heru. Then we went up stair to the rink again, and there is Jeff so we asked him to come inside and sit with us which he did sat with us after we asked him in, we laughed and joked around and Jeff skated with us and we still laughed in the rink and of course, joked around and we went off ice and again we laughed and joked around and suddenly, I got students then Tasha went home, and I finally ate my lunner (lunch dinner) then I went home..... hehe 

And today, I'm going to Kota Kasablanka around 2ish, that's why, I could write a post hehehee teehee<3 see you !!

Pink Clouds...

While walking to Lippo Mall before, I found the sky turned orange, the clouds turned pink.... I got all excited bout it so I took a pic of it it looks really really nicee.... and its because I love PINK <3<3

Awesome day with my sweet cousin, Angel

 So today, my cousin, Angel came and visited me at home, and we went to Lippo Mall Kemang Village. We both played in Timezone and spent 75 thousand on random gamesss lolol XDXD and after that we went to Starbucks and get a white chocolate coffee.... we just stayed in Starbucks for an hour and head back home... it was only that but she had fun and so do I :D:D

Process being an instructor is tough....

I just realized this while I'm going to write a post in my blog......

For me, honestly speaking, being a coach, teacher, or an instructor is easy, but the process to become a coach, teacher, or an instructor is hard, because before our teachers can teach us stuff in school, they also learned back in their days. And coaches, they used to trained real hard to become professionals and to become who they are now. BE PROUD ! to have a teacher who gave you hard questions and to have a coach who probably get mad or laugh when you fall down.

And guess what ?!?!? I got 5 students in my first day of coaching last Sunday, 16 June, 2013 but got none today... but I got time to practice, but then I fell while racing with Darryl, and got my right ankle a little injured. Let's see tomorrow if there is any students....

In the left is a white tiger, it comes from India, it was use to guard the Taj Mahal temple. and in the right is a mini ground kangaroo it comes from Papua, its really cute !! and cuddly XDXD. COACHING TODAY !!!

It's the first day of coaching is today.... so excited yet just realized that I will not have my semester break holiday. It will be in Kota Kasablangka, South Jakarta, Indonesia from 15 June - 18 August. The best thing is that my best friends will join me coaching there AAA *so excited*. I have no other plans for this semester break except coaching, but I'm going to join Youth Gathering on 2nd July - 6th July. at least I still can have my holiday with my best friends..... See you in Kota Kasablangka !!!

Last Day Of School.....

So today was the last day of school, we had a lot of fun we did merit store and the boys played smack down and it was really a great day today hahaha. Tomorrow is when I start coaching in Kota Kasablangka with Darryl and probably Tasha, my Best Friend it will be an awesome summer holiday ever !! but we still need to do our PACE's starting next week !! but the rest of it was ridiculously awesome !! but totally gonna miss everyone in Class A :'''( </3
